Triple H Comments on Batista Quitting, Seth Rollins Turning, The Shield

Triple H sat down in his weekly interview with Michael Cole to discuss what happened on this past Monday’s edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Below are some of the highlights.

On Batista leaving Evolution and the company:

“What do I think about Batista quitting? Not the first time he quits. Probably won’t be the last time he quits. It’s what Dave does, he quits things. Never really sees them through. He wants to run off to Hollywood and play Drax the Destroyer in his Guardians of the Galaxy movie? Good for him. I hope it works out because I know Dave well enough to know that he doesn’t have a Plan B.”

On coming out on top in the battle of The Shield vs. Evolution:

“I said this would be over with The Shield when The Shield were no more. Guess what? I won. I always win.”

Why he chose Seth Rollins to join his faction:

“Listen, to me, Seth Rollins has always been the brains of the operation. What do you think those guys just ran out there and did what they did? No, no, no. Somebody was the architect. Somebody was the brains. And it’s always been Seth Rollins from Day 1.”

Whether he is worried about response from The Shield or not:

“Why would I be worried about Ambrose and Reigns? I know what The Shield can do. The Shield doesn’t exist anymore. Adapt or perish. Seth Rollins adapted. The Shield perished.”
