For the last month, it has been reported WWE will be keeping The Undertaker off WWE television until his entrance at WrestleMania. “Taker” accepted Bray Wyatt’s challenge this past week on “Monday Night Raw” for a match at the big show, and may even use a Johnny Cash song for his entrance.
According to PWInsider, Sheamus is expected to remain off of WWE television until WrestleMania 31 on March 29.
The website reports former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will be kept off weekly television until WrestleMania itself. Vignettes have been airing for months promotion the return of the “Celtic Warrior,” and he had been rumored for a match with Daniel Bryan as a heel for the past two WrestleMania’s.
However, Bryan’s fate has been sealed for the show in California (*spoiler*). With that said, it is likely Sheamus will likely end up in a multi-man match at Mania. This could be the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or the multi-man Intercontinental Championship ladder match .
He was last seen on WWE television leading up to “Survivor Series,” and was supposed to be on Team Cena against The Authority. He took time off to recover from injury though, and is expected to portray Darth Vader in a flashback scene in the next “Star Wars” installment.
Editor’s Note
I expect him to be in the battle royal and win.
