WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall recently signed with Global Force Wrestling, a move many thought was a positive sign for the often-troubled star. But Hall was recently kicked out of a wrestling event after an alleged drunken incident, providing some negative P.R. for the former Intercontinental Champion.
According to TMZ, Hall was booted from the Skate and Surf Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey this past weekend after allegedly getting into a drunken argument with event officials. The Kliq member was scheduled to host a meet and greet with fans, but he was reportedly told to get himself together. Unable to do so, he was asked to leave.
Per the outlet, Hall caused issues after he demanded to be paid for showing up. When officials were not having any of it, security was called to escort “Razor” off the premise.
TMZ also included video of Hall at the event. The video shows Hall getting involved with a promo, leading to Jake “The Snake” Roberts being announced. He is then seen arguing with event officials, before being escorted out. There is no word at this time as to whether the pay issues were resolved.
The video can be seen below:
Hall spent many years trying to get clean under the tutorage of Diamond Dallas Page. Ironically, Page is from the Jersey Shore, and is a popular figure in Asbury Park where the incident occurred. Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 as “Razor Ramon” by Page, as WWE figured he had largely gotten clean since.
He recently visited the WWE Performance Center, which many believed meant he would be working with NXT. However, his signing with GFW may change that perception. He is now referred to as a “GFW legend” on the company’s official website.
Editor’s Note
Not good. Hopefully, he just had a moment of weakness, or the reports of his state of mind are exaggerated.
