The Rock Reveals Original Plans for WrestleMania 30 Match With Brock Lesnar

The Rock revealed on Twitter that there were originally plans in place for him to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans. These plans fell through, however, following his injury suffered in his WrestleMania 29 match.

Between Vince, Brock & myself our Wrestlemania 30 plan was ROCK vs BROCK. No plans now for 30 but possibly WM 31. #RockTalk @_JordanMayoral

Many will recall that The Rock had been scheduled for Monday Night Raw the night following WrestleMania, but did not appear due to his injury. It had been said at the time this would have set forth plans for a match.

Interestingly enough, Rock does mention in the tweet that he is open to a match at WrestleMania 31. Many believed The Rock’s career may have been over following his second matchup with John Cena, but it appears this is not the case.
