Several issues with the broadcast of the WrestleMania event have been reported by users online.
Around 30 minutes into the show, WWE’s official WrestleMania twitter account confirmed issues with the online PPV feed on WWE.com. When users tried to access the feed, a message was displayed which read “This service is unavailable”.
Some viewers also experienced issues watching in HD via Time Warner Cable. During the live show WWE advised users via Twitter to switch to the SD feed while they worked on the problems.
There were also reports of issues with the broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, with some viewers reporting the feed was switching back and forth between high and standard definition feeds.
Issues with the online feed were resolved around two hours into the show, with many fans reported the feed was not live and had restarted from the show’s beginning. Several fans also expressed their frustration at the difficulties in contacting customer support departments regarding the issues.
WWE is yet to officially comment on the issues, and it is not yet known the company plan to offer any compensation or refunds for the issues.
