Justin LaBar of WrestleZone.com and TribLive.com is reporting that while a triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins is still on the table, there is a chance that WWE is headed in a new direction for The Shield at WrestleMania XXX.

LaBar explains that due to the likelihood that Daniel Bryan will find himself in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match with Batista and Randy Orton, WWE will not want another three-man match on the card. Not only this, but WWE sees the overwhelming popularity the faction has achieved of late, and wants to capitalize on it.

With that said, according to LaBar, the current match being discussed would see all three men as babyfaces taking on the team of Kane alongside Konnor and Viktor, the NXT Tag Team Champions referred to as The Ascension.

In his column, which can be found here, LaBar makes arguments for the match and the logic behind it, as WWE has in fact teased interactions between The Shield and Kane as of late.

Though nothing is confirmed at this time and things can change leading up to WrestleMania, it most certainly seems possible that The Shield could live through their own March madness.
