WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins has taken to Instagram to pose an idea for the company going forward.

“Myers & Matthews, the Major Brothers or@thecurthawkins & @zryder85 …Either way you put I think it’s safe to say it’s time for us to be a team again.”

Hawkins is referring to the tag team he and Zack Ryder worked as together as they came up through the independent circuit and eventually into WWE developmental in the mid-2000s. The two started as “Myers and Matthews” before being given the gimmick of brothers with the last name “Majors.”

Eventually, the two debuted on the main roster, and dropped the “s” in the name. Not long after, they were paired with La Familia and assisted Edge while he was World Heavyweight Champion in 2007. Eventually, they captured the WWE Tag Team Champion, but did not hold it for long.

The two are seldom seen on WWE television as of late, and Hawkins was the second-lowest ranked heel on the WWE roster as per the Professional Wrestling Torch Newsletter. Meanwhile, Ryder made his return to YouTube with a new show just last week trying to start what he called a new “Ryder Revolution.”
