Adam Cole is one of only three wrestlers in Ring of Honor history to win the World Championship belt. Now comes an even bigger challenge–defending his title against the man who took his first title away from him.
On Friday, September 30th, Adam Cole will defend his title at All-Star Extravaganza against “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, live on Pay-Per-View from Lowell, MA. Elgin has been on a tear recently in the Land of the Rising Sun, taking gold away from Kenny Omega to become the IWGP Intercontinental Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Now, with both wrestlers having history with each other–from Cole winning his first title at the expense of Elgin, and Elgin subsequently capturing the title back from Cole–and both wrestlers entering the squared circle with hardware around their waist, this is shaping up to be a huge draw–and one you will not want to miss.
This is the rubber match in their set of matches, and both are walking in with something to prove. Cole will certainly be looking to prove in his first PPV title defense that his first win against Elgin was not a fluke, while Elgin is coming in wanting to put the rubber stamp on his dominance of Cole. Further, how will Elgin respond if he has to face the entirety of the Bullet Club should Cole end up in trouble?
Tickets are still available for the event, which will take place at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. You can alternatively also purchase the PPV and be prepared to watch this awesome match unfold live.
