Not long after his TNA departure, Jeff Jarrett is said to be hard at work on his newest project: Another wrestling promotion.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Jarrett is in the middle of putting together the pieces of a new wrestling organization, but this time with some additional financial backing. Country music star Toby Keith will be working alongside Jarrett and helping fund the project as it comes together.
It should be noted there had been rumors some months ago that TNA, the company that Jarrett started and now owned by the Carter family, was potentially an item of purchase for Keith. However, the new report now states that it was instead TNA officials that tried to market the company to Keith, but he passed.
Jarrett recently took a trip to Los Angeles to discuss what he referred to as “business” and reportedly met with interested names.

It is said that Jarrett is in the process of reaching out to free agents in the wrestling industry to see if they will get on board with the project.
Jarrett started TNA in 2002 alongside his father, Jerry Jarrett. The two sold it not long after.
