Last week, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed WWE Superstar Ryback did indeed suffer a legitimate injury to the lower body that would leave him out of action for an undetermined amount of time. In addition, “The Big Guy” took to his camera while on a hospital bed explaining he suffered “major” injuries but would be returning in a big way.
According to SEScoops, the injury isn’t as major as the often-trolling figure insinuated, though the outlet was able to confirm the extent of it. The site claims Ryback suffered at least one hernia, perhaps even a double hernia during a weight training session at the gym. In addition, the report states he will be out of action for four to six weeks.
While performing under the “Skip Sheffield” persona, Ryback, real name Ryan Reeves, suffered a devastating leg injury that left him out of action for nearly two years. Since, he has returned and remained mostly healthy and missing little television time.
He had stated recently he was looking forward to getting back into the main event scene, and received a thunderous response while WWE was in his hometown of Las Vegas for “Monday Night Raw” last month.

Get will, big guy. Myself and Alex Besong miss you so.
