WWEShop.com have begun selling a ‘Congratulations John Cena’ t-shirt, which may give us the first glimpse into what Cena’s customised WWE Championship may look like.
Since The Rock unveiled the new design for the title belt back on the February 18th edition of Raw, it has been widely speculated that future champions would not change the actual design of the belt, but instead change the smaller circular plates on the left and right sides of the championship. During The Rock’s reign as champion, these plates displayed the iconic brahma bull emblem.
The special t-shirt features the same design belt, however the plates have been changed. The left plate features Cena’s ‘iconic ‘Hustle, Loyalty Respect’ logo and the right plate appears to feature the ‘You Can’t See Me’ emblem used on many of Cena’s t-shirts. The rest of the championship appears to be the same as when The Rock first revealed the new design.
It’s not yet confirmed if this will be the route WWE and Cena decides to take with the belt, but it would fit in with previous theories. It’s likely we’ll see our first glimpse of the actual belt on this Monday’s edition of Raw.
