Multiple online reports state that WWE Superstar Christian will not return to action in this weekend’s WWE live events as advertised. He had been scheduled to face World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.
Christian has been out of the ring for some time as he heals a concussion. He was written off television when he was attacked by The Shield in front of best friend Edge.
Del Rio will now defend his title against The Great Khali. Still, Christian is expected to work the company’s upcoming Mexican tour and appear on Thursday night’s NXT tapings.
