TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray participated in a conference call to promote TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

Regarding the World Heavyweight Championship match against AJ Styles, Ray said he’d go in and tear the house down while retaining the championship. He said that him and Devon had accomplished all they could as a tag team and that the opportunity to be a singles wrestler was one he was ready to jump into. He added that he’s never felt held back.

Additionally, Ray commented on the TNA status of Hulk Hogan, saying that Hogan added much credibility to TNA since he is the “Babe Ruth” of professional wrestling. He said that while he doesn’t have access to the TNA financial records, he has been happy with the money he’s been making for seven years. Ray also added he hopes Hogan sticks around so he can kick his behind.

Ray also promoted his Team 3D Wrestling Academy, saying that while he has no plans to retire, the day will come and he wants to stay involved. He hinted at potential involvement down the line with creative teams and that he’d like to remain in the business.
