WWE Superstar and on-screen Director Of Operations Kane was interviewed by Kare 11, an NBC affiliate in Minnesota Friday morning to promote the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view at the Target Center. PWInsider.com noted the interview.
While discussing the show, in which the interviewer also left the viewer with the impression that Kane would be in the actual Elimination Chamber match, Kane was asked “where Brock Lesnar fits into all of this,” and whether he was actually still with the company.
Eventually, he revealed that Lesnar is still with the company and will in fact be appearing at the pay-per-view that airs from his home state. Lesnar has been long-speculated to be making an appearance on the show, but has been off WWE television since just after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Earlier in the year, Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s manager, said his client was the “self-declared No. 1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship,” though no traction has come from this as of late. He defeated The Big Show in a brutal matchup at the Rumble in his most recent match.
