A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some new backstage information regarding the WWE Divas Championship and WrestleMania XXX. According to the report, WWE Creative has not locked in plans for current champion AJ Lee to defend the title on the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”

Prior to suffering an eye injury that will keep her out of action for four-to-six weeks, Naomi was slated to face Lee in New Orleans on April 6. As the match, and it’s build, would have been heavily featured on “Total Divas,” it was even rumored that Namoi would have defeated Lee and obtained her first WWE Divas Championship.

While a WWE Divas Championship match at WrestleMania has been taken off the table for Naomi, her push, injury, and comeback will likely be the focus of her portion of the second season of “Total Divas.” While she will not need surgery, Naomi will likely not be appearing on WWE television until she is completely healed. Healing from a facial injury such as the one she suffered, flying is the last thing Naomi would want to do at this time. The pressure from ascension and descension would prove to be very painful and could hinder her recovery.
