Although Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson originally stated that he would not need surgery after injuries suffered during his WrestleMania match against John Cena, a somewhat graphic Tweet sent out Sunday morning says otherwise.

Recent rumors are implying a strained relationship between The Rock and WWE as of late, although reasons have been scarce.  He is scheduled to begin filming “Hercules” this May – pending his injuries allow it – and the process will take almost eighteen weeks.

Dwayne was expected to work the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and return in time to work SummerSlam later this year, but his injuries make the May event impossible, and the rumored relationship between the two makes the later unlikely. The Rock was reportedly set to face Brock Lesnar at either SummerSlam or next year’s WrestleMania event, but the status on that blockbuster match is unknown at this time.
