WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio has spent the better part of the last two years out with injury – almost exclusively to his knee – and many fans have been anticipating his in-ring return for some time. Unfortunately, the “Master of the 619” is not scheduled for the upcoming Raw and Smackdown world tour kicking off next Monday in the UK, and extending through May.

Mysterio will also not be present when WWE’s two brands merge for their new “WWE Live” house show format this June, nor their return to Japan on July 4th and 5th.

The 3-time World Champion returns to action for the first time since March, when the WWE Raw brand tours Australia from July 26-30. His former tag team partner Sin Cara will be on tour with the Smackdown brand in South Africa. WWE has no dates or live shows scheduled after the Australian and South African tours, but neither Mysterio or Sin Cara are advertised for the August Summerslam pay-per-view.
