WrestleMania is just around the corner, and as usual WWE’s biggest event promises no shortage of shakeups for the show. But what about Chris Jericho?
Y2J’s WWE appearances have been famously on-again, off-again in recent years, and though his most recent run is perhaps his best we still weren’t certain how long his latest comeback would last. After all, he’s still got Fozzy.
Kevin Owens versus Jericho has been a key part of WrestleMania plans ever since the first rumored card we saw, and given the success of recent story developments there’s no reason for that to change. But what about after the showcase of the immortals?
Well, Jerichoholics are in luck. Y2J is advertised for WWE events throughout the month of April, including TV dates and the first post-WrestleMania pay-per-view with Payback on April 30th.
He’ll have a tour with Fozzy in May and early June, but according to WrestlingInc he’s expected to return to WWE shortly thereafter.
It seems that Jericho and Owens are still set for a US Title match at the show of shows, and Y2J himself is expected to be back on WWE TV sometime after this Sunday’s Fastlane.
