After Vince McMahon vaguely announced the Superstar Shakeup on Raw, the internet’s been going crazy on who’s going where and what both brands will look like following WrestleMania.
We’ve heard that Roman Reigns will remain on Raw, AJ Styles will be switching brands, and the New Day will be heading to SmackDown. But the trades are only half the story. This week saw the Revival, Tye Dillinger, and Shinsuke Nakamura hit the main roster, and it looks like more will soon follow.
On Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required), Dave Meltzer offered an update on what’s coming. Next week is expected to see the debut of the Drifter, Elias Samson, who recently lost a “loser leaves NXT” match. He worked under a mask as El Vagabundo on a recent NXT episode, but it looks like the delay for his main roster appearance is only a short one.
According to previous reports, Andrade “Cien” Almas was expected to debut in this round of call-ups. It seems those plans have not changed, so expect him to hit the big show soon.
Much more is expected from the Superstar Shakeup, but beyond the changes previously reported the details are hazy. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
