WrestleZone.com is reporting that the WWE may have a new October PPV. The site claims that a network in the United Kingdom is promoting the WWE’s October Pay-Per-View event as “Battleground,” instead of the previously advertised “Over the Limit.”

No other site promoting or selling tickets for the event, including WWE.com, have changed the name from “Over the Limit” to “Battleground” just yet. The company did officially repackage their June PPV to “Payback” only three months prior to the event airing live, and could very well be doing the same thing with their October PPV.

“Over the Limit” has been a World Wrestling Entertainment PPV since May of 2010. The event took place in May the first three years of its existence, but was reportedly pushed to October this year once it was announced that “Extreme Rules” would be the May PPV for 2013. The event, no matter what the name will be, will be held on October 6th in Buffalo, New York.

WrestlingRumors.net will provide more details regarding this new PPV branding when more information becomes available.
