TNA Wrestling held a live event featuring just eight wrestlers this past Saturday night.

According to reports, the event consisted of just five matches with many wrestlers performing double duty.

The live event was the first ever TNA event to be held in Girardeau, MO.

Bully Ray and James Storm opened up the event, with Devon taking on Gunner in the second match of the night. All four men would later take part in a tag team ‘street fight’ for the tag championships.

Other matches included Samoa Joe taking on Bobby Roode and Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy.

Issues had already arose outside the arena as fans were left waiting for a full hour for an autograph signing without any communication from TNA officials. Fans were later told while waiting in line that new World Champion Chris Sabin would not be in attendance.

While there has been no official word from TNA regarding the show, several fans have noted staff at the show blamed ‘paperwork issues’.
