In a recent response to the writers of WrestlingInc.com, WWE comments on rumors of Brock Lesnar being done after WrestleMania 31. As previously reported, Lesnar is rumored to be heading back to UFC following his WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout slated for March 29, and his follow-up appearance on “Monday Night Raw” on March 30.

According to Bryan Alvarez of “Wrestling Observer Radio” and F4Wonline.com, the WWE merchandise department has been told that they will not be making any more material for Lesnar. They’ve also been told that any merchandise they had marked for Lesnar would now be changed to Sheamus.

While this rumor fueled the fire in regards to Lesnar’s possible jump back to UFC following WrestleMania, WWE responded to the report with a simple message in hopes of slowing down or killing the story. A WWE spokesperson responded by saying, “There is no truth to this report.”

Whether or not WWE is merely trying to save face and hush these reports down until Lesnar disappears on April 1 has yet to be seen, but chances are that Lesnar’s title defense on the grandest stage of them all will be the last time we see The Beast Incarnate in a WWE ring for some time.

Editor’s Note:
When merch people get news, it’s usually reflective to upcoming months, so I believe this could mean Lesnar will in fact be gone after the post-Mania “RAW.”
