According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com and “Wrestling Observer Radio,” WrestleMania may never be numbered again. The logos presented by the company for WrestleMania 31 and 32 do not feature any numbers, but have a play button and a star under “WrestleMania” instead.

The play button in the WrestleMania 31 logo is reportedly supposed to recognize Silicon Valley and the WWE Network, since the event will be emanating from California. The star and horns represented on the WrestleMania 32 logo are to represent the state of Texas, the Lone Star State. WrestleMania 32 will be held in the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium.

The report states that Vince McMahon is the one that doesn’t want numbers associated with WrestleMania anymore. He believes the numbers attached to the events sound “old,” and the company is expected to just use icons that represent the area in which the event is to be held each year with the logo.

Editor’s Note:
Yeah, we’re still going to number WrestleMania. We can’t write out WrestleMania: Santa Clara or WrestleMania: Dallas every time. That would be worse, IMO.
