As first confirmed through his Twitter account, Adam Pearce has officially joined the ranks of World Wrestling Entertainment.

His official position has yet to be revealed, although it’s assumed that he’ll be working down in NXT developmental as either an on-air talent or trainer.

Pearce is a former five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He’s previously competed for Ring of Honor, TNA Wrestling and PWG as well.

He worked as a backstage producer during the “NXT Takeover: R Evolution” show on Dec. 11. He was also a guest trainer and coach during the first week of December, presumably to tryout for a future role with the company.

Editor’s Note

Good for him! Awesome acquisition for WWE.
