What overshadowed (and continues to do so) Roman Reigns’ 2015 “Royal Rumble” victory on Jan. 25 was the negative crowd reaction he received from fans at the Wells Fargo Center.

The WWE Universe were not at all happy when Reigns emerged victorious as the new No. 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.

In a video piece for WWE.com, cameras followed Reigns prior to the Rumble event caught up with him after his win.

In a very “company friendly” response, Reigns mentioned how fans are allowed to cheer or boo for whomever they want when they pay their money for a ticket.

The Rock, who embraced his cousin in the ring following the bout, is reportedly upset with the way things transpired, including how WWE handled Daniel Bryan’s involvement in the match.

Editor’s Note

I feel bad for Reigns. Most of the hate being directed his way is really meant for those who are responsible for his push. Time will tell if this negativity will affect plans moving forward.
