Vince McMahon Wants Charlotte on the Main Roster

According to PWInsider.com, WWE CEO Vince McMahon wants Charlotte on the main roster as soon as possible. As previously reported, the former NXT Women’s Champion has been rumored to be on her way to the main roster for months, but after WrestleMania weekend, those rumors are becoming more serious discussions between McMahon and other officials.

McMahon attended his first live NXT event in San Jose, California on March 27 during WrestleMania weekend. According to reports, he was reportedly blown away by Charlotte while watching her compete in a NXT Women’s Championship Match with current champion Sasha Banks.

While McMahon was impressed by Banks as well, Charlotte was the stand-out for him. Not only does he reportedly want her on the main roster as soon as possible, he also wants Charlotte to be a featured superstar in the upcoming Tapout gear ad campaign.

As previously reported, WWE has teamed up with Tapout to produce an exclusive new line, and they are producing commercials of talent wearing the clothes in the gym. McMahon reportedly wants Charlotte to be one of the primary female faces associated with the brand.
