New information has been released about Matt Osborne’s death. NBC News in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas has reported that Matt Osborne (Matt Borne), who performed under the original wig as Doink the Clown for WWF/WWE, actually passed away in a Texas hospital on Friday, June 28th, not at the home of his girlfriend as widely reported.

Osborne, who was 55 years old, died in a hospital after he was found unresponsive by his girlfriend inside of her apartment in Plano, Texas. Osbourne had been living with her. Police are currently investigating Osborne’s death and have stated initially that they believe it to have been “accidental.” Osborne’s last public statement was a recent post on his Facebook page. He writes, “I HAVE SOO MUCH GOING ON THIS SUMMER dON’T KNOW IF i’M COMING OR GOING! bUT……THATS THE WAY HU HUH i LIKE IT HU HUH HU HUH! mISS MY BROTHERS!!!!”
