As we reported earlier, Dixie Carter announced via Twitter Wednesday that Jeff Hardy would be returning at TNA’s Slammiversary event this Sunday, June 2nd. PWInsider.com is now reporting that Hardy will compete during the event in a 6-man tag team match, and that this match will be announced during Thursday’s IMPACT WRESTLING program.

PWInsider reveals that Hardy will be placed in a tag team with Samoa Joe and Magnus, and that they will take on the Aces and 8’s team of D.O.C., Wes Brisco, and Garrett Bischoff. Samoa Joe was last seen on IMPACT WRESTLING on May 23rd, returning from being “taken out” by the Aces and 8’s. He ran in to save Magnus from the same fate that he has suffered from TNA’s rebel stable. Jeff Hardy was also last seen on IMPACT WRESTLING, where he lost in a “Full Metal Mayhem” match to Bully Ray. This will ultimately be billed as a Team TNA verses the Aces and 8’s match on the card. IMPACT WRESTLING airs at a new time Thursday, May 30th at 9pm ET on Spike TV.
