New reports have provided an update on Daniel Bryan’s WWE status. According to insider claims from a trusted source within WWE, Bryan is being asked to be available whenever WWE wants to use him on TV again. He was apparently in Greenville, South Carolina for the Dec. 8 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” but merely stayed backstage and wasn’t used during the program.
Bryan will be appearing on WWE’s annual “Tribute to the Troops” program that will air on the USA Network on Dec. 17 during “WWE Week.” Recent images from the official “Tribute to the Troops” Twitter account reveal that Bryan is currently at Fort Benning just outside of Columbus, Georgia, filming content that will be used for the company’s annual special.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s full-time in-ring return is still in question, as different reports have stated different stories. Some believe Bryan will return during the 2015 Royal Rumble match as one of the 30 competitors vying for a title shot at WrestleMania 31, while others close to Bryan believe that he may not return to active competition until after WrestleMania on March 29.
Editor’s Note:
Obviously they kept Daniel Bryan off “RAW” on Dec. 8 so that Roman Reigns could be the big return. It’s also obvious that Reigns was handed the “Superstar of the Year” award and that fans didn’t vote for him to win that honor. Vince McMahon and Triple H merely want Reigns to be looked at as someone that is strong enough and big enough to win the Rumble, and go on to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.
