Former WWE superstar CM Punk joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship on a multi-fight deal is one of the big news stories coming out of UFC 181 on Dec. 6.

Jason David Frank, the former Green Power Ranger and MMA fighter, made the following comments about CM Punk and UFC on his official Facebook account:

““I’ve tried for years haha. you can’t just Join UFC you have to be invited and prove your self as a fighter. I have a lot of great friends who are GREAT fighters that still haven’t got Into the UFC. I Didn’t know with no fight experience you can. Well I was wrong. He’s in the UFC and that’s that. Don’t under estimate him though Brock did it, maybe he can too? PS I still would like a shot haha. JDF”

He even went as far as challenging Punk to step inside the octagon and face him, although that would take UFC President Dana White signing JDF to a contract first.

Editor’s Note

Let it be reiterated that JDF and Punk have no bad blood between each other. The chances of a fight going down are slim to none, but even so, the idea of such a confrontation taking place makes any fan of the two nerdgasm.
