The Undertaker Will Face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX

The Undertaker will face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. The match was made official during the Feb. 24 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” when Lesnar was challenged by the Deadman at the end of Monday’s broadcast.

Just before “Monday Night Raw” went off the air, Lesnar and manager Paul Heyman made their way to the ring. Heyman then revealed that Lesnar had been given an open contract for a match with anyone he desires to “conquer” at WrestleMania XXX, in lieu of getting inserted into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match like he wanted. Initially, Heyman and Lesnar claimed they did not want a match and were leaving the contract on the table until the lights in the arena went dark, and the Undertaker’s bell tolled.

Undertaker would descend upon the ring in classic “Phenom” manner before standing nose-to-nose with the “beast incarnate.” After glancing at the ominous WrestleMania XXX sign that hangs above the WWE Universe, Undertaker would stare Lesnar down until the former UFC and WWE Champion penned his name on the vacant contract.

Lesnar then forcefully thrusted the pen into the Undertaker’s chest, which didn’t sit well with the Deadman. Undertaker took said pen and stabbed Lesnar hand, which sat on top of the contract, officially signing on for the match with Lesnar’s own blood. The Phenom did not stop there however, as he then proceeded to chokeslam Lesnar through the table that stood stationary in the ring.

The match officially being added to the WrestleMania XXX card confirms rumors regarding Lesnar facing the Undertaker that have been running wild for months. Confirmation of this match also provides the WWE Universe with two official WrestleMania XXX bouts to look forward too, Lesnar vs. ‘Taker, and Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
