The Dead Man was in fact backstage during “Monday Night Raw” on March 17, as the Undertaker and John Cena beat down the Wyatt Family after “Monday Night Raw” went off the air. Undertaker was advertised for the program, but was held off the broadcast in order to build towards his inaugural appearance on “WWE Main Event,” which will take place on March 18 live on the WWE Network.
Following the closing segment of the show, Daniel Bryan was stretchered to the back after being brutally attacked by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Soon thereafter, former WWE Champion John Cena emerged from the back to compete in the dark match main event, which was originally advertised as Bryan and Cena vs. The Wyatt Family.
Seeing as though Bryan was mauled by Triple H and unable to compete, Cena made a special announcement. He tells the Wyatt’s that they’ve stolen an entrance that belongs to someone else, and the lights go out. The Dead Man cometh.
Undertaker enters the ring and he and Cena nail their finishes on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to close out the night. Bray Wyatt did not try to interfere, he merely took himself out of the equation and went back to the locker room.
