An Authority ran Twitter account has stated that Triple H and Sting are to meet face-to-face at WWE “Fastlane” on Feb. 22. As previously reported, the two former champions are slated to go head-to-head in a main event match-up at WrestleMania 31.
The WWE Twitter account retweeted The Authority’s account on Jan. 26, where it was announced that Sting has been invited to meet Triple H face-to-face at WWE “Fastlane” on Feb. 22. The tweet reads,
Per The Authority: @WWE COO @TripleH has challenged @Sting to meet face to face at #WWEFastLane Saturday, Feb. 22, 2015 on the @WWENetwork.

The last time Sting showed up on WWE TV was during the Jan. 19 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” where he provided a distraction that allowed John Cena to get a victory over The Authority’s golden boy, Seth Rollins. This forced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to “rehire” Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick Rowan.
Stings’ WWE debut came at the 2014 “Survivor Series,” where he attacked Triple H and placed Ziggler in position to eliminate The Authority from WWE altogether. With Sting coming and going as he pleases, Triple H has deemed him a thorn in his side, and wants to meet him face-to-face to settle their differences once and for all.
This will likely be the first time the WWE Universe will hear Sting talk while standing inside of a WWE ring, but they will likely get to see him compete in the company for the first time on March 29 at WrestleMania 31 against the man he’s aggravated beyond belief, Triple H.
Editor’s Note:
Well, that will sell “Fastlane” for some at least.
