In a recent live edition of “The Steve Austin Show” with WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on the WWE Network, WWE COO Triple H says Brock Lesnar may have unfinished business in MMA and that he alone will make the decision whether or not he re-signs with WWE after WrestleMania 31.
Austin asked Triple H about Lesnar’s status with the company, saying that fans know the rumors surrounding the upcoming end of his WWE contract, and that he is only slated to appear for the company March 30, the night following WrestleMania 31. Lesnar is currently scheduled to face Roman Reigns at the WWE’s biggest annual PPV event.
Triple H states that Lesnar may have unfinished business in MMA, and that the company is talking to him about if he is going to stay in WWE or not. He says that Lesnar is loving what he’s doing for the company, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to what Lesnar wants to do. If he wants to go back to UFC, or head to BellatorMMA, that’s all up to him.
Bellator recently claimed that a bidding war between the three companies over Lesnar was taking place. They also said that they are making a move to try and get The Beast Incarnate to sign with their promotion.
Editor’s Note:
Triple H’s tone sounded like Lesnar is heading back to MMA. It’s a shame, because he’s been great during his run. He hasn’t worked a lot, which is the only complaint, but he’s been worth the money when it’s come to the matches he’s put on…aside to that Big Show match.
