Triple H Confirmed as Special Guest Referee at SummerSlam

WWE COO and former WWE Champion Triple H will be the special guest referee during the WWE Championship match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam. This added stipulation to the match was added Monday night on RAW during a segment involving Vince McMahon, Triple H, and RAW General Manager Brad Maddox.

Maddox had been the guest referee during a match between Bryan and Wade Barrett, using a fast count to give Barrett the victory over the WWE’s “YES!” man.  McMahon made his way to the ring later in the program, and was about to make Maddox the special referee for Cena vs. Bryan, Triple H came to the ring and made himself the guest official for the bout with a Pedigree to the RAW GM.

You can watch Cena vs. Bryan for the WWE Championship with Triple H as the special guest referee this Sunday, August 18th, at 8pmET on PPV and other various digital formats.
