TNA President Dixie Carter has confirmed that former WWE Champion and current TNA Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy recently suffered a broken leg in a dirt bike accident. Carter announced the information through her official Twitter account.

Hardy, along with his brother Matt, recently captured the TNA Tag Team Championship for the first time together on TNA programming. The duo won the vacant titles, which were held in abeyance once Eddie Edwards of The Wolves fractured his heel.

The Hardy Boys have held both the WWE and TNA Tag Team titles, as well as multiple singles championships. Jeff has been WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Light Heavyweight Champion, European Champion, Hardcore Champion, and TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
