In a recent post on Twitter, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin reacts to rumors claiming he may wrestle again. As previously reported, rumors have hit the net claiming Austin may be training for a return to the ring for a match at WrestleMania 31 or 32. Austin’s reply indicates he may be facing a “legend” at WrestleMania 31.

Playing off of the recent “news” reports of the possible Austin match to come, “Stone Cold” pokes fun at the Internet and says that The Loch Ness Monster will be his WrestleMania 31 opponent. New rumors of a possible Austin in-ring return began the week of Sept. 19, when Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter questioned WWE’s promotion of Austin’s podcast on WWE television. He then claimed some within WWE believe Austin is in fact training hard to compete at least one-more time.
Austin himself has said he would be open to possibly working another WrestleMania main event, but only if the creative angle and the pay were good enough to make him really want to sign on for it. While nothing has been actually discussed, Austin has stated before in interviews that he would love a shot at WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, especially after Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX.
If Lesnar were to lose the WWE title at “Night Of Champions” to John Cena, many within WWE believe that he will work a match with a legend at WrestleMania 31. Lesnar’s possible opponents if not champion are currently discussed as being The Undertaker, The Rock, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin himself.
While the rumors continue to get stronger, Austin’s response could be his way of saying it’s not going to happen, but in this business, you never say never.

That’s some great photo shop done by Austin…unless he had someone else do it for him…because he’s so busy training for one more match…probably at WrestleMania 32 in Texas…if it’s in Texas…
