Former TNA wrestler Shark Boy appears to be headed back to the company in some capacity.

According to PWInsider, the former X Division star was backstage at Wednesday night’s “Impact Wrestling” tapings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. There, he was expected to take on the recently-debuted Brodus Clay, who appeared on behalf of Ethan Carter III at Tuesday night’s tapings.

Shark Boy was last with the company in 2013, having a few one-off matches, the last of which was a match with ECIII himself.

Prior to that, Shark Boy, real name Dean Roll, had been with the organization since 2002. He parted ways with the company in March of 2011 at his own request, but would return to make a few special appearances every now and then.

Since then, the 39-year-old has kept a low profile, occasionally working the independent circuit.

Welp…gamechanger.
