Seth Rollins has been added to the “Royal Rumble” WWE Title Match. Previously, the only competitors slated to face off in the bout were John Cena and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. However, Rollins was added to the match during the Jan. 5 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

During the opening segment featuring the returning Authority, Triple H rewarded Rollins with the championship shot as a result of his influence on bringing back both he and his wife, Stephanie McMahon back into their storyline-given power. The once billed, “Final Chapter” match between Cena and Lesnar has now been made a Triple Threat, fueling rumors of a departing Lesnar.

Lesnar has been rumored to be heading back to UFC following WrestleMania 31. However, many believed that he would be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion going into the biggest event of the year on March 29.

With Roman Reigns vs. Lesnar originally the plan for ‘Mania, it seems as if WWE officials may be changing their plans and going a different route. The Road to WrestleMania is surely getting shook up with the addition of Rollins to Cena vs. Lesnar at “Royal Rumble.”

Editor’s Note:
This SCREAMS of some sort of screwy, multi-finish involving the briefcase. Maybe Rollins helps Lesnar beat Cena…then turns on him WITH the help of Paul Heyman, and cashes in on Lesnar for a bigger victory and more heel heat?!
