Santino Marella Updates Fans on Recovery Status

Santino Marella, who was taken off of the WWE’s active roster earlier this year with a neck injury, has gone to Twitter over the last week to update the world regarding his condition.
Last week on February 12, he tweeted…

 

I’ve never really missed work from an injury before, damn it sucks!Can’t wait to get back in the ring!

Today, he updated his followers again with this…

 

Neck procedure went well today in Pittsburg, shouldn’t be too long now before I’m back in action, I’m hoping!

We last saw Marella compete, albeit quickly, in this year’s Royal Rumble match. He was already injured at this time, but still entered the match at #5 and was eliminated by Cody Rhodes. He lasted 55 seconds.
