According to new reports from PWTorch.com, Ryback is cleared to work and should return to action soon. “The Big Guy” announced that he would need surgery on Aug. 28 in a video produced in his hospital room, and began recovering from “two sports hernias and a couple strained groins.”
The report claims that Ryback has recovered completely and ready to return to the ring. However, WWE officials have not yet put “The Big Guy” back on television because they are unsure of how to reintroduce him to the WWE Universe.
Many rumors claim that Ryback will return as a singles competitor once more. Prior to taking time off to recuperate from his injuries, Ryback was one half of “RybAxel,” a relatively unsuccessful tag team with former Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, who has also not been on WWE television since Ryback’s departure.
WWE is likely going to make both men singles stars once more upon Ryback’s return to the ring. The question plaguing WWE creative is how they will make this happen. Ryback’s singles run in late 2012 and into 2013 was considered a failure and WWE officials want to build him up into a credible main event superstar again. Many do not expect “The Big Guy” to return to television until the company has designed a way to make a “successful” return happen for him.
Editor’s Note:
I hope they continue to allow him to be the guy he was in his hospital gown, cause THAT Ryback is entertaining. “Feed Me More” Ryback was a #waste, IMO.
