Rumor: Vince McMahon Wants Daniel Bryan vs Shawn Michaels for WrestleMania XXX

Rumor has it that WWE CEO Vince McMahon really wants to have Daniel Bryan face off against WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXX. As part of a rumor we reported last week, McMahon’s desire is to have Michaels come out of retirement for the match, but Michaels has yet to commit to this.

In a new rumor published by DailyWrestlingNews.com on Saturday, it seems as if McMahon is obsessed with having big names like Michaels at WrestleMania, and will not book matches such as CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan until his actual desired matches are deemed undoable. Many behind-the-scenes believe that Punk and Bryan could tear the house down in New Orleans, but McMahon has said to be against the match because he really wants names like Michaels to be on the card for April 6th, 2014.

McMahon reportedly wants to sign marquee names to recreate similar numbers and interest in WrestleMania XXX that The Rock brought in the last few years.
