Production issues may have led to the awkward commercial break during the final segment of Monday night’s episode of RAW. I myself, WrestlingRumors.net Senior Editor Doug McDonald, was in attendance during the live broadcast of Monday Night Raw in Greenville, South Carolina on November 4th, and it appeared that something, possibly an early cue of the Shield’s entrance to the ring, caused the production crew to cut to an unplanned commercial break during the segment involving the Authority and the Big Show.
Just as the Shield made their way down the arena steps, The Big Show began to speak to Triple H about why they were even coming down to the ring, and was then cut off abruptly by the production team. Someone then brought a visibly aggravated Triple H a production headset (which is equipped with a microphone), and he began to communicate with the back about what was going on.
At this point the ring went “dark,” to indicate that a commercial break was taking place, but everyone in and round the ring seemed confused and irritated. Stephanie McMahon was going over to the Big Show and talking to him about what was going on, as she was going back and forth between him and her husband Triple H.
We cannot confirm what the issue was, but the final commercial break of the program seemed to throw off the talent in the ring, which is weird when taking into consideration who was in the ring. The COO and the Head of WWE Creative. So if they were confused and irritated, it is very possible that something indeed went wrong during the final segment of Monday Night Raw.
