Report: Billy Corgan Not No. 1 Name Interested in Purchasing TNA Wrestling

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, while Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan may have interest in buying TNA IMPACT Wrestling, he doesn’t have the financial means nor the time to make such an acquisition.

Rumors are running rampant over Corgan possibly knowing a wealthy friend/fellow investor, but that cannot be confirmed at this time.

There also appears to be other names ahead of Corgan in the TNA bidding war anyways.

President Dixie Carter has told her employees that the company isn’t for sale, however, reports by Dave Meltzer are indicating otherwise.
