Multiple reports claim that a new superstar may be added to Evolution soon. ProWrestling.net is claiming that one of the names being discussed as a new member of Evolution is the recently crowned United States Champion Sheamus.
As we previously reported, Batista is set to take time off from competition following WWE’s “Payback” event on June 1. He will be using his time off to travel the media circuit and promote his new role in the upcoming Marvel film, “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
In his absence, WWE officials are looking at possibly bringing in another superstar that can fill Batista’s role as the “enforcer ” of Evolution. Sheamus, who’s been rumored to be getting pushed soon as a top heel, is the company’s No. 1 choice at the moment. Other names have been discussed, but Sheamus is at the top of the list.
Triple H is expected to continue working in the ring for as long as needed to eventually get Roman Reigns over as a major star, and Evolution is expected to be together at least for the next few months leading up to “SummerSlam” in August.
Editor’s Note:
Good. Sheamus needs to turn heel. It looks like we’re already seeing teasery from him in this way, but having him join Evolution, especially after he was the one that took the US strap off of Ambrose writes itself.
