The world of Sports Entertainment has been buzzing lately about the Undertaker’s “will he or will he not compete” status for WrestleMania 29. No one seems to have a definitive answer, but it’s looking more and more like the Undertaker might be stepping out of the WrestleMania limelight this year.

Amazon.com is already accepting pre-orders for the WrestleMania XIX DVD, and the description reads as follows…

“It only happens once a year, and in 2013, The Showcase of the Immortals comes to the greater New York City area for WrestleMania XXIX! From MetLife Stadium, the biggest stars in WWE and several returning legends compete on sports entertainment’s grandest stage. Last year, fans witnessed The Rock defeat John Cena in one of the most epic matches of all time. What legendary Superstars will thrill the WWE Universe at WrestleMania this year? Plus, John Cena, CM Punk, Big Show, Triple H, Sheamus, and several major Superstars strive to cement their legacies and create moments that will own a permanent place in WWE lore.”

The description notes that “several returning legends” compete, but does not list the Undertaker’s name at all. An interesting side note as well, Triple H is listed in the description but no “WrestleMania storyline” has started for him either. Take it for what it’s worth, but this could be an early sign that at least for this year, “the streak” is safe (for all the wrong reasons).
