In a recent conversation with WrestleZone‘s Justin LaBar, WWE Executive Vice President (Talent/Live Events/Creative) Triple H announced that Matt “Jason Albert” Bloom has officially been named “Head Coach” at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. As previously reported, Bloom was named Interim Head Coach upon the resignation of former Head Coach Bill DeMott. However, he has now been promoted to the full-time position.
PWInsider.com was first to report that Matt “Jason Albert” Bloom would be named the interim head trainer at the WWE Performance Center and the talent signed to NXT and WWE’s developmental system. Previous Head Coach, DeMott, resigned amidst allegations of abuse and intolerance towards talents signed to developmental.
DeMott made the following announcement on March 6, stepping down from his role,
I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the (cont) http://t.co/1UpTIE1aXi

WWE reportedly investigated the allegations made against DeMott, and cleared him, but after a history of reports against the former Head Coach, he took it upon himself to resign. Bloom then stepped into the Interim Head Coach position, looking to make the most out of the opportunity.
Upon being given the position, Bloom tweeted,
Sometimes doors open that you never expect to open and amazing opportunities are presented to you. I plan on busting through those doors! — Jason Albert (@WWEJasonAlbert) March 8, 2015
Triple H claims that Bloom is now the official Head Coach of the talent working out at the WWE Performance Center, and Sara Del Rey is officially the Assistant Head Coach.
Editor’s Note:
Good. Bloom is a great talent who was underutilized by WWE over a span of a decade. He has a great amount of wisdom and talent to share with new superstars, and is reportedly a great positive influence on all those around him. Congratulations, Matt!
