The Wrestling Observer has provided an update on Kofi Kingston’s current WWE status. Kingston is scheduled to return to active competition in two weeks, as he is being advertised to compete during the upcoming WWE Australian tour. The WWE RAW World Tour arrives in Australia on July 26th.

Kingston suffered an elbow injury at the hands of Ryback during an episode of Smackdown back in May. Ryback put Kingston through three different tables, injuring the superstar and causing him to require surgery. Kingston has been recovering smoothly and was recently part of the “WWE Money In The Bank Kick-Off” commentary panel.

Rumors have Kingston re-starting a feud with the man who defeated him for the United States Championship, Dean Ambrose, upon his return.
