As per his personal Twitter account (@IamJericho), Chris Jericho is set to part ways with World Wrestling Entertainment later this week after fulfilling all of his contractual obligations.

Jericho will be leaving next month for a UK/European tour with his heavy metal band, Fozzy. The tour will run through August, before the band returns for a domestic tour that will end this October.

For now, his final match with the WWE will be this Friday night on Smackdown as Y2J challenges Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship.

Jericho has worked part-time schedules for the company in the past, so the door will certainly be open in the future for the three-time World Heavyweight Champion, if he decides to go that route once again.
