We here at Wrestling Rumors reported yesterday (July 16, 2013) that TNA Impact Wrestling had come to terms on the release of five-time Knockouts Champion Lisa Marie Varon, better known to fans as Tara.

Well, according to reports by PWInsider.com and ProWrestling.net , the reason behind her release was strictly budgetary.

Tara was easily the highest paid Knockout in TNA, so since she wasn’t being used on television to a great deal, it was simply best to cut ties and put that money towards areas that sorely need it.

Her last appearance in a match for the company was on the May 9th edition of TNA Impact, losing a tag team match with her partner Gail Kim to the Knockouts pairing of Mickie James and Velvet Sky.
